High standards at every stage
Every project entrusted to B-Design is approached with the highest standards. Painting a helmet means working with rounded, complex shapes, a step-by-step construction process, and areas that must be defined with precision. Each project brings its own technical constraints, adjustments and decisions throughout the process: the way these elements are mastered, while maintaining the level of finish, is what makes the difference.
Unlike a flat surface, a helmet is read in three dimensions. The shapes must follow the curves, the transitions must integrate naturally, the tones must remain harmonious, and every detail must find its place.
Even with nearly thirty years of experience, no project is ever approached as something obvious. Each helmet brings its own share of questioning.
For Grégory Brand, this level of demand is also a responsibility: respecting the trust placed in him, respecting the helmet, respecting the project, and dedicating the necessary time to each creation in order to achieve a result that is accurate, balanced and perfectly mastered.
Creation and identity
Every B-Design helmet is conceived as a creation in its own right.
It is not simply a matter of applying a decoration or assembling visual effects, but of composing a coherent, personal and carefully balanced whole.
A design must not only look appealing on paper. It has to work on the real volume of the helmet, remain balanced from every angle and maintain true overall readability.
Each project is therefore developed in search of the right balance between character, elegance and coherence, in order to create a strong identity, designed for the helmet and for the person who wears it.

Quality of execution and finish
B-Design helmets are produced with absolute attention to detail at every stage. Everything must be perfectly positioned, down to the millimetre. The sharpness of the graphics, the precision of the transitions, the quality of the symmetry, the balance of the gradients and the overall finesse of the execution are at the heart of every creation.
The result sought is a finish of great visual purity, where everything appears natural, fluid and perfectly mastered. The level of precision must give the work a visual sense of obviousness, while preserving the value of a piece painted entirely by hand.
Choice of materials
The paints, clear coats and materials used are carefully selected for the quality of their appearance, their durability over time and their compatibility with the surface.
Every technical choice serves the same objective: to support the creation, preserve the quality of the final result and ensure the reliability of the work.
Respect for the helmet and its homologation
Painting a helmet means respecting specific constraints.
Each intervention is carried out with particular attention to the manufacturer’s recommendations, the integrity of the shell and the requirements related to safety and homologation.
The objective is to work on the helmet without altering its integrity or compromising its primary function.

Beyond technique, a B-Design creation requires time, consistency and total involvement.
Each project is followed with the same attention, from the first design research through to the final finish, to give rise to a singular, balanced and fully mastered piece.
We readily compare our craftsmanship to haute couture: each helmet is a unique creation in which mastery of technique, precision and attention to detail are essential. We measure our standards not by the number of helmets we produce, but by the quality of each one.
