Secure Payment

B-DESIGN uses secure payment solutions and adapts payment validation to the actual availability of the products ordered.

1. Payment methods

Depending on the options offered during checkout, you can pay for your order using:

  • bank card;
  • Apple Pay;
  • PayPal.

The payment methods actually available are those displayed when your order is confirmed.

2. Bank card and Apple Pay

Bank card and Apple Pay payments are processed through the secure Monetico - Crédit Mutuel payment solution.

Payment information is entered directly through the payment provider’s secure interface. B-DESIGN does not intend to directly record or retain your full bank card details.

3. Our principle: checking availability before capturing payment

Where a product is available in stock, payments processed through Monetico are validated as part of the normal processing of your order.

Where an item depends on supplier stock, B-DESIGN checks its availability and expected lead time before finally validating the payment processed through Monetico.

Our aim is, as far as possible, to avoid capturing payment for an order where the product is ultimately unavailable or where the supplier’s expected lead time becomes too long.

If the product is unavailable or the proposed lead time is not suitable for your order, B-DESIGN may cancel the Monetico transaction before funds are captured.

4. How Monetico deferred validation works

The Monetico - Crédit Mutuel solution used by B-DESIGN provides for a technical deferred period of up to 7 days.

During this period, B-DESIGN may validate or cancel the transaction according to actual product availability and order processing.

If the transaction has not already been validated or cancelled, it is automatically validated at the end of this technical period.

5. Paying with PayPal

Where you choose PayPal, your payment is processed by PayPal in accordance with the arrangements applicable to that service.

The Monetico deferred-validation procedure described above applies only to payments processed through Monetico - Crédit Mutuel and does not apply to PayPal payments.

6. Product unavailable or supplier delay too long

If an ordered product becomes unavailable or its supply time becomes unusually long, B-DESIGN will contact you to explain the situation.

Depending on the circumstances, a revised estimated timeframe, an alternative solution or cancellation of the order may be offered.

Where a Monetico transaction has not yet been validated, it may be cancelled before funds are captured.
